Mr. Khash Montazami is the founder and Principal of Xerxes Financial Group. He founded the firm in 1996 in order to provide the personal financial consulting services preferred by his corporate and individual clients. Mr. Montazami was an early adopter of the ?fee for service? approach to financial consulting. As an independent Registered Investment Advisor, clients pay Xerxes either hourly or annual management fees rather than commissions on transactions. This relationship approach is fundamental to offering independent consulting services free from conflict of interest. Prior to opening Xerxes Financial Group, Mr. Montazami was an associate at the Tyson?s Corner offices of Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, a diversified financial consulting business providing a range of solutions for client needs in retirement and risk management. A desire to provide truly independent guidance led Mr. Montazami to end his tenure at the Guardian in 1996 and a number of his clients followed him, providing the basis for Xerxes Financial Group.
Mr. Montazami is a long-time resident of Northern Virginia and a graduate of George Mason University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1989. He currently lives in Springfield, Virginia with his wife and children.
